After passing the ENT PG exam, Most of us develop some affinity towards one main subspeciality like Otology, Allergy or Skull base. Our aim is to let the newly passed postgraduate students know what are the options in front of them at National and International level.

Therefore we are planning to organize a comprehensive lecture/series on the topic – “I have done MS/DNB/DLO in ENT, What Next “

We have identified 15 sub-specialities which a postgraduate can choose after ENT.

Dr Sunil Dutt – Cochlear Implant
Dr Gaytri Pandit – Allergy and Immunology

We will try to cover these questions –
1) When is the good time to apply ?
2) What are the options available in India with cost impact ?
3) What are the options available abroad with cost issues ?
4) What is the OPD burden of cases and patient awareness ?
5) How much is the surgical exposure?
6) Average training period/Learning curve to acquire those skills and work independently ?
7) How much is the expenditure for personal setup ?
8) How much is the competition and saturation of that field ?
9) What is the income expectancy?
10) What is the future scope ?
